Crew was sent to assess two metal door packages located in two different suites within the strip mall. The first door is located at the rear of Suite 300, Jason Ahrendt Insurance (see photos). This door is a 36-inch-wide metal door with a right-hand swing and measures 82 3/4 inches from top to bottom, which will be classified as an 83-inch door. No interior or exterior casing is required for this door package. The customer requested an upgrade from the existing commercial lever-style hardware to push bar–type hardware. New gaskets, a new threshold, and a door closer will be required. The door is currently painted different colors on each side, and the customer has confirmed that paint matches are available for both the interior and exterior finishes. The second door is located at the rear of the vacant storefront in Suite 500, formerly “The Ideal Weight.” The door in Suite 500 is identical in size, height, swing, and configuration to the door in Suite 300, and the hardware requirements are the same, including the upgrade to push bar hardware along with new gaskets, threshold, and door closer. Paint will also be matched for each side of this door as required.
