Upon contact with Mr. Woods, a water stain observed on the downstairs ceiling was investigated and traced to a pinhole leak in the water supply lines serving the master shower. Although a plumber completed repairs to the water supply lines, further inspection revealed a secondary leak originating from the shower’s P-trap. Moisture intrusion was confirmed in the downstairs drywall and carpet, with visible saturation extending into the carpet pad.

Crew documented the affected areas and confirmed moisture presence in the lower-level drywall and carpet (see photos). The carpet will need to be peeled back to access the wet pad and subfloor. Drying equipment will be required to properly dry the affected carpet, padding, and surrounding materials in the lower level to prevent further damage and potential microbial growth.
