Solutions Provided:

Water damage was discovered in multiple areas, including soaked rugs, wet flooring, and warped baseboards peeling away from the walls. The affected baseboards were removed where necessary and cavity holes were drilled to promote drying. A plumber identified the source of the leak as a broken spigot pipe, which was exposed by cutting into the ceiling and then repaired. Containment was set up at the door, and drying equipment was deployed throughout the space, including dehumidifiers and multiple fans to address wet flooring, walls, ceilings, and rubber flooring. In some sections, the rubber floor was pulled up to allow airflow beneath it, and additional baseboards, door casing, a door, and a transition strip were removed to support the drying process. Once drying is complete, restoration will include reattaching baseboards and casing, reinstalling the door and transition strip, applying caulk, and completing paint touch-ups.
