Containment was established in the lower level of the basement to isolate the affected structural areas. Damaged drywall and ceiling materials were removed to expose the framing. Floor joists beneath the kitchen were thoroughly cleaned and sanded where mold staining was present, followed by treatment with antimicrobial solution (RMR) on all exposed wood members.

One dehumidifier and one air scrubber were deployed for stabilization, with two air scrubbers operating continuously for two days to maintain safe air quality. Structural drying was monitored through regular moisture readings until materials returned to acceptable levels.

Upon completion, containment barriers were carefully dismantled, and the workspace was left clean and prepared for final restoration. The customer arranged for removal of furniture prior to remediation, allowing clear access to all affected areas.
