Solutions Provided:

The suite experienced widespread water intrusion resulting in standing water, elevated moisture levels, and significant saturation of flooring assemblies. Moisture migration was observed throughout affected areas, including wicking at wall bases into drywall. Prolonged moisture conditions posed a risk of structural damage and potential microbial growth if not promptly addressed.

Mitigation & Solution Implemented:
Emergency water extraction was immediately initiated across all impacted areas to remove standing water and reduce overall moisture saturation within flooring assemblies. Commercial-grade air movers and dehumidifiers were strategically deployed to enhance air circulation, regulate humidity levels, and support effective structural drying. Ambient heat was maintained at an elevated level to accelerate evaporation and improve drying efficiency throughout the suite.

Comprehensive moisture readings were taken and documented in all affected flooring and wall assemblies. Ongoing moisture monitoring was established to track drying progress and verify the effectiveness of mitigation efforts. Drying equipment was positioned to target areas of heavy saturation and visible water migration, particularly along wall bases where moisture intrusion into drywall was identified.

Wet and non-salvageable materials, including saturated carpet, padding, rubber matting, and other affected flooring components, were identified for removal to prevent further deterioration and minimize the risk of microbial growth. Continued mitigation efforts were recommended until all affected materials return to acceptable industry-standard moisture levels and the structure is confirmed to be fully dried.
