At the initial loss, wet carpet pad was removed and carpet was cut back in the affected areas. Drying equipment was set in place, and a drying log was initiated. Equipment was later removed once moisture readings confirmed the drywall had returned to dry conditions.

Carpet was cut out in both affected rooms, and contents were manipulated as needed to access impacted areas. Unsalvageable carpet materials were disposed of appropriately. Bio-cleaning was performed in the affected spaces.

All impacted areas were treated with an antimicrobial solution and cleaned using hot water and Dawn soap. Although photographs of this process were not captured, three air movers were placed to dry the treated surfaces following application.

The customer advised that equipment pickup cannot be completed on Friday; therefore, retrieval of the air movers will likely be scheduled for the following Monday.
