Upon exposure, the subfloor was addressed through thorough water extraction and placed under active drying conditions using professional-grade dehumidifiers and air movers. Antimicrobial treatment was applied to the exposed subfloor and affected areas to reduce the risk of mold or bacterial growth.

Moisture readings were taken and monitored to verify drying progress and confirm that the subfloor and adjacent wall bases returned to acceptable industry-standard moisture levels.
