Solutions Provided:

A plumbing leak in the basement bathroom resulted in water intrusion that affected drywall surfaces in both the bathroom and the adjoining bedroom. Prolonged moisture exposure caused the drywall to become saturated, leading to deterioration of the material and the development of localized mold growth. Additional mold was observed on portions of the bathroom framing, confirming that moisture had migrated beyond the finished surfaces and into the wall cavity.

To properly address these conditions, a detailed assessment was completed to determine the extent of damage. Compromised drywall areas were squared off and selectively removed to eliminate all mold-impacted and moisture-damaged materials. This removal provided necessary access to the underlying framing and wall cavities, allowing affected structural components to be exposed and addressed.

Exposed framing was cleaned and treated as required to address mold contamination and reduce the potential for recurrence. Once remediation activities were completed, new drywall was installed to restore the wall and ceiling assemblies to a sound and stable condition. The repaired areas were prepared for finishing to return the spaces to pre-loss condition.
