The property sustained significant damage after a tree impact compromised the exterior envelope of the home, allowing water to enter and spread through the ceiling assemblies, insulation, walls, and flooring in multiple interior areas. Moisture intrusion was evident through visible ceiling staining, wet insulation, elevated moisture readings confirmed with detection equipment, and damage to interior finishes including drywall, carpet, and trim. Because water became trapped above finished ceilings and within wall cavities, affected materials were at risk of continued deterioration and potential microbial growth if left untreated. Crew responded by performing controlled demolition, removing damaged ceiling drywall and saturated insulation to expose the framing and structural components for full inspection. This allowed trapped moisture to be released and ensured that all affected areas could be properly dried. Specialized drying equipment was deployed to address residual moisture in the surrounding walls and flooring, and moisture levels were continuously monitored until they returned to acceptable standards. Once drying was complete, Crew prepared the space for restoration by stabilizing the structure and documenting all affected areas, ensuring the home could be safely rebuilt and returned to its pre-loss condition. This comprehensive approach addressed both the visible damage and hidden moisture caused by the tree impact, preventing further structural issues and ensuring a complete and effective restoration.
