Crew Restoration performed active water mitigation and structural drying in the affected lower-level living space and bedroom. Drying equipment was strategically deployed, including dehumidifiers, air movers, and an air scrubber, to address moisture detected in flooring, wall assemblies, and the ceiling cavity. Affected baseboards were removed to allow proper airflow behind wall cavities. Select drywall was removed from the ceiling and around the window header to access and expose wet structural components and plumbing lines. Damaged sections of insulation were removed where impacted.

Carpet and pad in the affected room were removed to eliminate trapped moisture and prevent secondary damage. Drying mats were utilized on hard surface flooring where needed. Equipment was positioned to ensure directional airflow across wet materials, and moisture levels were monitored throughout the drying process. The work area was maintained in a clean and controlled condition while mitigation activities were ongoing. These actions were taken to stabilize the affected areas, promote proper drying, and prepare the structure for future repairs.
