Water intrusion affected the family area and adjacent spaces, resulting in moisture damage to lower wall sections, drywall, insulation, and flooring materials. Visible mold growth was present behind baseboards and within wall cavities, particularly along exterior walls and near openings. Conditions required controlled demolition to access impacted materials and prevent further spread.

Crew completed demolition in the family area, removing water-damaged drywall and mold-affected insulation up to the appropriate cut lines. Exposed wall cavities were cleared to allow proper drying and inspection. Door casing was carefully removed and saved for reinstallation. Impacted flooring materials and debris were removed where necessary to access affected areas.

Demolition in the bedroom remains incomplete and will require continuation. Additional containment and air quality control are needed; an air scrubber will need to be brought in to support ongoing work. Two air scrubbers were left on-site to assist with airborne particulate control and drying.

The affected areas are now prepped for continued mitigation, drying, and future restoration.
